My third-year body of work is an exploration of morbid interests. A unique identity that blends the eerie with the elegant and what takes up my thoughts and a showcase of things that I find fascinating. It is a showcase on how my mind perceives more morbid subject matter, how little things come together and how deep into a rabbit hole I often find myself in. Every artwork regarding a particular subject is its own piece of information which accumulates into the greater knowledge gained by simply taking interest in a certain topic.

My whole body of work is based around the concept of a Cabinet of Curiosities. Particular and often peculiar things that reflect my interests. I came to see value in my entire process when creating a painting, from the messy sketches with writing all over it to the more precious drawings and paintings. I want to show everything. To do this, I created a book that shows my entire process, my thoughts and each product of said curiosity.

Simply put, my work is meant to show curiosity for no other reason than curiosity itself.
